| Plot |
| Georgi, played by Danny Kaye, wanders into a strange town and is arrested on a vagrancy charge. Although he is roaming around in a travelling medicine show, he is mistaken by the town’s corrupt officials to be Inspector General. Several bungled attempts are made to kill him, as they believe he’s been sent to uncover that they’re guilty of taking tax money. |
